Poco X2 Starts Receiving MIUI 12 Global Stable ROM Update in India

Poco X2 latest update comes with build number MIUI 12.0.1.0.QGHINXM.It has been just a few months since MIUI 11 was launched globally, and now the company has started offering MIUI 12 with some significant changes. 

What is MIUI 12?
MIUI 12 is a custom skin based on the Android operating system for Mi and Redmi phones. In other words, MIUI 12 is a modified version of Android OS with infinite customizations options. It brings several exciting features including Dark Mode 2.0, Dynamic Always-on Display with over 1000+ custom animated styles, AI Calling, Navigation gestures and more.

Poco X2 users are now receiving the MIUI 12 update in India, as per reports. Users are sharing screenshots of receiving the update on their devices on Twitter. Xiaomi recently announced that the Poco F2 Pro and Pocophone F1 global units will also receive their MIUI 12 updates starting this month. However, the Poco X2 is the first device to get the new MIUI 12 update that was announced in May. It brings along a flatter and more simplified interface, revamped system animations, Android 10-like navigation gestures, and much more.

Samsung topples Xiaomi as the overall mobile phone leader in India

Samsung led the overall mobile phone market with a market share of 24 per cent, followed by Xiaomi and Vivo, said IDC India . The mid-premium segment ($300 and less than $500) with a share of 4.8 per cent declined YoY by (48.4 per cent) with top models such as Samsung's Galaxy A51 and A71, Vivo's V19, Apple's iPhone SE (2020), and the OnePlus 7T.
