Samsung led the overall mobile phone market with a market share of 24 per cent, followed by Xiaomi and Vivo, said IDC India . The mid-premium segment ($300 and less than $500) with a share of 4.8 per cent declined YoY by (48.4 per cent) with top models such as Samsung's Galaxy A51 and A71, Vivo's V19, Apple's iPhone SE (2020), and the OnePlus 7T. In the smartphone segment only, Samsung surpassed Vivo for the second slot despite a strong YoY decline of (-48.5 per cent) in the second quarter to 4.8 million units.  The Galaxy M21 was among the nation's top five shipped models and most of its online-exclusive Galaxy M series was opened to offline channels, though at higher prices. Xiaomi says it does not use Clean Master app for its own cleaning app.  It claims that 100 percent of user data stays in India Xiaomi is working on a new version of MIUI Xiaomi has released a statement on Twitter clarifying the situation with banned Chinese apps on its phones. It states that none of the apps that have been blocked by the Indian government are available on any Xiaomi phone and that 100 percent of Indian user data stays in the country. It also states that its own MIUI Cleaner app does not use the now banned Clean Master app. This comes after many Chinese apps including Mi Browser and Mi Community app were banned in India as a result of the country's move to counter China's dominance in the India's internet services market.

  PUBG Mobile beta has gone from version 0.19.0 to 1.0.0. PUBG Mobile beta version has finally got Erangel 2.0 map with the 1.0 update. The development was shared by the PUBG Mobile team on its Discord server where it also posted a brief introduction to Erangel 2.0.
